At Saint Alphonsus, we don't just help babies arrive. We help families prepare, grow and thrive before, during and long after you've taken your new baby home. Our goal is for you and your family to leave our programs with new knowledge and tools, new memories and new friends.
The Saint Alphonsus Family Center is an inviting meeting place for men, women and children to come together for professional support and health resources.

The birth of your baby is a very special time and a wonder new chapter in you life. However few things come with as many expectations as the birth of a baby. There is a lot of information out there. We're here to help you sort it out and help you make the decisions that are best for you. No matter where you plan to give birth, our childbirth education classes will help you be prepared and confident as you approach the big day. We are the only Lamaze-Certified childbirth education program in the region.
As a new parent, you want the very best for your baby. Your infant's nutrition is important to us. Whether you choose to breastfeed, bottle-feed, or use a combination of both, our lactation and infant-nutrition services are here to help you. Our lactation consultants help new mothers and babies get started by offering services during your stay in our Family Maternity Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Family and Parenting Classes
Many people believe parenting should come naturally through instinct, but it can be valuable to learn parenting skills in a more structured way. Helpful parenting skills along with some knowledge of child development can make the difference between seeing parenting as stressful to truly enjoying your children.
Parenting can also come with unexpected challenges. Our experienced parenting educators and consultants are here to support you through our classes and free community groups.
