The purpose of this study is to help researchers and doctors better understand recovery after hospitalization. The hope is to gain data and information that can be used to predict recovery of older persons after a heart attack. This is a multi-center study driven by the collaborative efforts of Yale University School of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. The expectation is to have 3100 participants nationwide. More information on Saint Alphonsus cardiovascular research can be found here.
