What: To raise awareness of stroke risk factors and prevention – Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is proud to partner with the Boise Hawks for the first annual “Strike Out Stroke”. Saint Alphonsus nurses will provide free blood pressure checks, information on risk factors and health related giveaways.
Why: Stroke and Heart Disease are the number one cause of death in Idaho. Luckily, if you know the risk factors and signs and symptoms Stroke can be treated immediately or prevented all together.
