New Plymouth, Idaho – April 29, 2013 – Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Ontario continues to expand and enhance services for eastern Oregon and western Idaho families with the opening Wednesday May 1, 2013 of the New Plymouth Clinic.
“The opening of the Saint Alphonsus New Plymouth Clinic further reinforces our commitment to keeping care close to home by partnering with communities,” said Rick Palagi, CEO, Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Ontario. “Families and individuals often have a difficult time finding transportation, and financial resources to travel outside of their communities particularly for primary medical care. That is why the Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Ontario is committed to this project. This clinic is equipped to provide needed primary care and will connect patients with more advanced services as needed.”
The Saint Alphonsus New Plymouth Clinic at 213 North Plymouth Avenue is the culmination of a partnership with Internet Truckstop, an internet-based transportation company that employs approximately 130 people in the New Plymouth area.
