Boise, Idaho – September 24, 2012 – Saint Alphonsus Health System President and CEO, Sally Jeffcoat announces the promotion of Rodney Reider as President of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Reider was formerly the Chief Operating Officer for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and assumed the role as President effective September 1, 2012.
Reider joined the Saint Alphonsus Health System in 2010. He has an extensive and distinguished healthcare background having served in leadership positions at health systems in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Louisiana and California. Reider has a Masters of Science degree from Cal Poly in Pomona, California and an MBA from Loma Linda University. Additionally Reider completed international business studies at Curtin University in Western Australia. Reider is a Fellow (FACHE) of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Reider is married with two daughters and enjoys biking. He is a member of the Ballet Idaho Board and serves on the Bishop Kelly President’s Advisory Council.
