When: Thursday, June 30, 2011 – 5:00 PM
Where: NW 16th Street, Fruitland, Idaho 83619 (East of the Saint Alphonsus Dominican Health Clinic)
The Saint Alphonsus – Fruitland Health Plaza is one step closer to opening its doors to the community. A Groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 5:00 PM Thursday June 30th. The 30,000 square foot Fruitland Health Plaza will serve the growing needs of area residents by providing access to critically needed physicians and diagnostic services. Approximately 100 community leaders and healthcare professionals are expected at the groundbreaking. The community is invited to bring a shovel and participate.
The estimated $10 million investment further demonstrates the Saint Alphonsus commitment to providing access to quality services. The outpatient facility also reinforces our Mission and Vision: to improve the health of our communities and to provide hope and healing close to home.
“A multispecialty center is needed and will benefit the entire area,” said Dr. Andy Peterson, Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Physician. “I believe this is one of the most important advances in healthcare delivery made here in the Valley since the Sisters arrived 100 years ago.”
