Did You Know:

  • One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer
  • Breast Cancer ranks 2nd highest in the number of cancer deaths among women in Idaho
  • 12.5% is the projected percentage of women who will receive a breast cancer diagnosis by their 85th birthday
  • 1/3 of the breast cancer cases in Idaho are detected in an advanced and less treatable stage
  • It’s impossible not to scream aloud when you get a bunko!

You Can Help Make a Difference
By joining the Boise Bunko Babes for an evening of fun dedicated to friendship, dice rolling, prizes, and for a greater cause—battling breast cancer. Bunko is a simple dice game that women all over the nation are playing. To join the FUN, complete the registration form and return with your $25. Your entry will reserve a place at a Bunko table and you will receive one complimentary raffle ticket and a “Pink Lady” drink ticket!Additional raffle tickets for great prizes (past years’ prizes have included airline tickets, tickets on the Thunder Mountain Express & restaurant gift certificates) will be available for purchase during the event.

Bunko tables will be assigned based on registration dates, so it is important that you register in advance. If you want to be seated as a group, indicate the members of your group and the group leader on your registration form. Guaranteed special seating requests will be made for groups of 12 or 16 (so bring your entire Bunko Group) with a completed registration form and payment for all players.

Get in the Spirit By:

  • Bringing a friend, a table (4), or an entire group (12 or 16) to play with us.
  • Making a cash donation.
  • Donating a prize for the raffle or a gift basket.
  • Having your Bunko group donate their October pot.
  • Wearing your favorite pink outfit that night.

Funds raised from this year’s Bunko event will benefit the Saint Alphonsus Breast Care Center’s Women’s Wellness Mobile Clinic and outreach programs. Recent data ranks Idaho as the lowest in the nation - #51 - for breast cancer screening rates. Help change these statistics by joining us!
