Our Mission
At Saint Alphonsus in Trinity Health, our mission is to serve together in the spirit of the Gospel, to heal body, mind and spirit, to improve the health of our communities and to steward resources entrusted to us.
Our congregation-based health ministry emphasizes the wholeness of body, mind and spirit to promote balance within the various dimensions of our lives. It is our mission to create a link between healthcare and a church's role as a healing community.
Through the stewardship of the parish nurses, health professionals and interested congregation members, the health ministry is designed to institute and strengthen the ability of a faith community to care for one another in light of its relationship with God, liturgy, religious traditions, fellowship and themselves.
